How to Use
- Lay the linen canvas flat, spread the clay on one half, and fold the other half over it
- Feed the overlapping end of the canvas under the roller so it doesn't slip
- Set both thickness handles to the same marking, about 10 mm less than the clay's thickness
- Turn the handwheel, and the clay is pulled through automatically
- Roll back and forth, lowering the rollers gradually, until you reach the thickness you want
Care
After each use, wipe the worktable and rollers with a damp cloth and remove any clay. Dry all parts well to prevent rust, and store the roller in a dry place. Check the screws, gears and legs regularly. Always use clay with the right moisture, because very dry clay can damage the rollers and gears.
