Screen Printing Underglaze Ink Black

Decopotterycolour Screen Printing is a color specially developed for direct printing on ceramics. It works with most transparent glazes and can also be left unglazed to give a matte result. The colors are excellent for use together with Ikonart stencils, making it easy to create your own designs.

Please note that Decopotterycolour Screen Printing is not suitable for transfer techniques

• Recommended screen mesh: 80–100 mesh
• Firing temperature range: 1950 °C–1260 °C

Tips

• When screen printing on bisque, make sure to fire the printing medium before glazing so the glaze adheres properly.
• For best results, use an exposed screen with a halftone design for sharp and detailed images.
• A shortcut is to use Ikonart stencils, which come light-protected and pre-coated with photo emulsion – an easy way to create your own designs.
